Lamb of God concert was hell fucking awesome! My neck has been killing me after all the headbanging and I can't even turn around that much. My grandmother massaged my neck thrice and it still won't ease the pain. Nevertheless, I had a good time.
On Thursday, I headed home straight away after school to get some sleep before meeting Love and his friend. I had my tooth worked on during school and my right cheek was totally numb. I didn't have a proper sleep as my right cheek was pretty numb after being given two injections by the dentist. When I woke up, it was raining. So, I got ready as the two were already arriving at Downtown East. I was on my way when they told me that the door was already opened though it was still one hour early. We then looked for a locker to keep our things since it would be troublesome to bring along our things. We went inside D'Marquee and there weren't many people around as it was still early. There was a booth selling merchandises like bandana, wristband and tops. I was forgetful enough not to bring some cash. Most of them were already occupying the front part. We got a good spot and we weren't far away from the stage.
It was funny when it was already the time for the show to start. Every technician who came up to the stage to get the things ready, everyone would cheer, thinking that he was one of the Lamb of God band members. False alarm. Turned out that he was just a technician. This happened over and over again. I suffocated for a few minutes as I was in the middle of the crowd and a few was smoking. I couldn't get any air.
I had been standing for an hour and finally, the show started. I couldn't get a clear view since I'm not that tall enough, tall guys were in front of me and blocked my view. It was hell chaotic. Everyone was pushing each other around, sweat dripping from their faces and stepping on people's feet. Everything was just awesome. Love's ring suddenly slipped off as his finger was slippery and it was a miracle that I found it.
My neck felt totally numb after a few songs. I decided to stop and watch them play. But the pain I'm enduring right now is worse than I felt on that day. Anyway, the whole show was just fucking great. I couldn't believe that Lamb of God was performing right in front of my eyes. They were just brilliant. Alright, I want to get some rest. My whole body's killing me.
